Average Activity Stat: Running 7-day average
I think it would be a beneficial training tool for Strava users to be able to track their running 7 day average. On a Monday through Sunday training week I might average a certain distance, but if for instance I did a long run/ride on Friday of one week then did another long run/ride the following Wednesday or Thursday - they would occur within a week's time, but it wouldn't be combined as a weekly total. My reasoning is to be able to monitor training stress by tracking mileage within a week's period of time. What do you think? Thanks for taking the time to read this! Glenn Ohler

Thanks Glenn! Would this stat be for Distance and Time metrics the the 7-day average?
Hi Elle, I guess it could be used for both time and distance. I think I see more benefit in relation to distance, but it seems it would be fairly easy to set up both.

Not sure Glenn! It is up to our product development team at Strava.
Just wanted to register my support for this. A standard Monday-to-Sunday week is fine when my schedule is predictable, but when I'm just trying to fit in rides when I can, a 7-day running total is a far better indicator of my current training load.
