Have two option buttons of run/walk on the same activity to improve/monitor pace during interval training, rather than just stop/resume.
An idea for beginners and professionals alike when trying to improve their pace and fitness levels. An example: You are looking to run at 5/km pace but are not quite at that fitness level. This option will allow to start run as usual but with faster pace. However, rather than just hitting the stop button and resume after recovered, which only informs of lapsed time after a run, you hit the walk pace. This then will record on STRAVA how long you were able to run at your target pace before you had to walk and have a measurement of these two paces. Not only could it help with seeing strong/weak times throughout one run but also show when intervals of running/walking are becoming closer together, thus heightening motivation.
