View Strava Matched Runs and Strava activities on the Fitbit Ionic
Connecting your Accounts and Syncing Activities
Connect your Strava and Fitbit accounts at http://strava.fitbit.com/ or through the Strava mobile app
On the iOS app, select More > Setting > Applications, Services, and Devices > Connect a new device to Strava > Fitbit
On your Android device, select the menu icon > Settings > Link Other Services > Connect a device to Strava > Fitbit
Once your accounts are connected any new GPS-based activities you record on your Fitbit will be synced to Strava. Learn more about syncing between Strava and Fitbit.
Viewing Strava Activities
On your Fitbit Ionic, you'll be able to view the rides and runs you've uploaded to your Strava account. You will be able to see the polyline on the main screen. If you scroll to the right you'll see your distance, average speed or pace, moving time, and any achievements you earned.
Strava Matched Runs
Matched runs using an algorithm to automatically identify runs you've completed along the same route. You can view your progress graphed over time on the Fitbit Ionic to see whether you're trending faster, slower, or holding steady.
Do I have to download the Strava app on my watch?
No, the Strava app is already loaded on the Ionic. You will just have to connect to your Strava account
Can I record activities on the Strava app?
No, you will only be able to view existing activities and matched runs. However, any GPS-based activities you record with your Fitbit will sync to your Strava account.
