Please be aware that the Year in Sport summary will no longer be available after January 19th, 2021.
The Year in Sport summary is a highly personalized report for Strava athletes that highlights fun data insights, meaningful social engagements and stand-out moments from this past year. While all athletes with at least three logged activities in 2020 can get a Year in Sport report, subscribers get more data insights and earlier access. To see your personalized report, log into your account on the Strava mobile app and select Profile from the bottom navigation menu. The Year in Sport report is an in-app experience (only on your mobile phone) and therefore is not available on Strava.com or on your computer.
Only you will be able to see your Year in Sport on your profile page but you can share images directly from the report, or download images at the end of your report and share them on Strava and other social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Why can't I view my Year in Sport?
You need to have the latest version of the Strava app installed in order to view Year in Sport. iPhone users must have iOS 13 or newer installed. If you don’t have a Strava subscription, you won’t have access to your Year in Sport until December 19th. You must have at least three activities on Strava from 2020 to generate a report.
I’ve already viewed my Year in Sport but have uploaded more activities. Can I refresh it?
The stats in your Year in Sport will update automatically; however, please be aware that the data in the experience may be slightly delayed. If you upload a new activity or get new kudos, it can take up to 24 hours before that data is fully reflected in your Year in Sport. The experience will also not display activities completed in 2021 if generated in the new year – only data from 2020 will be shown.
Why were some stats not included in my report?
The Year in Sport reports are highly personalized in hopes of providing the most meaningful insights for each athlete. Your scenes and stats are shown based on the activities you upload, the amount of data on your profile, etc. Please also be aware that average pace, average speed, most active time of day and achievements are only included for Strava subscribers.
Which activities are included in the final total distance?
The total distance is the sum of all activities on Strava and may include ones that DO NOT appear in your profile totals. This summary of your year on Strava will include data from public, private and virtual activities completed in 2020.
Why is there a discrepancy between my Year in Sport summary and my profile stats?
Profile stats are also sometimes out of date and may need to be updated manually. We recommend refreshing your profile stats by following the instructions found here.
