How to upload Nike+ activities to Strava

At this time, there is no official sync service between Nike and Strava, however, there are a number of 3rd party solutions built by developers using the Strava API. Here are some sync services recommended by our community:

  • FYI, I've tested all the solutions, and current solutions that still work include RunGap (for iOS) and SyncMyTrack (for Andriod).
I finally exported all my nike+ data to Strava!

  • The latest Strava app evidently is not compatible with WatchOS4.3.1. I stupidly (accidentally) updated a week or so ago on my iPhone X; which sent update changes to the Strava watch app. I've tried deleting both watch app and iOS app and reinstalling/app permissions/etc to no avail. The watch app just quits when tapped to open. I am intentionally staying on iOS 11.3.1 however I learned I cannot go to a newer WatchOS because it means I'd have to go to iOS 12 or 13 which is not what I want to do at this time (it breaks application support for work apps). The most aggravating part is no ability to go to the previous version of Strava app. The whole removal of ipa file management for iTunes was a dick move of Apple, so I think the only thing I can do if I want to try to get the previous version of Strava back on my phone & watch is to jailbreak my phone and use App Admin tweak. I'm super-annoyed that everything was working *perfectly fine* with the previous Strava version and their unwieldy developers decided to increase the watchOS requirement effectively breaking my watch app. This detail was NOT in the release notes. Jerks!

  • Sorry about my anger in my last comment. Strava has fixed the bug that prevented AppleWatch from loading Strava watch app. You don't need to be on WatchOS5/IOS12. It's possible on the previous version Strava required it (accidentally) and that is why it was crashing (I dunno), but they fixed it. Thank you Strava developers. You are not jerks! I apologize

  • The first two links do not work (https://nike.bullrox.net and http://nike.vinz.xyz/). The first one times out after 3 minutes of trying to log in with some server error. The second link only reports "Internal server error" without opening a start web page.

  • Just used the RunGap app to transfer 12 month's of data from NRC over to Strava on my iPhone 6 (iOS 12.3.1). Had to pay a small one off subscription for the "Swag Bag" add on and I did receive a warning message to say NRC is like North Korea and there could be a problem, but it worked first time. I've finally unlocked my Nike Run Club data!!!

  • When using rungap, my interval runs are not recognised (i.e recovery time between intervals is counted in the run). I must say that while the rungap average time is OK, the splits are every km and not the true interval distance.
    Any help ?

Update 1 Sep 19  - Exporting intervals using Rungap to Strava now works again without time’ between intervals being counted.

  • For anyone with the time, here is the method I've used:
    1. Contact Nike via their NRC email form 4 times. Get no response for 6 weeks. Skip to step 2.
    2. Call Nike on their NRC helpline. Got immediate support, a confirmation email and three days later they exported all 706 of my files to .tcx format
    3. Upload to Strava! The only drawback is distance and elevation are wrong for each one. You can correct distance by going into each run and selecting 'correct distance' under the distance, but elevation hasn't corrected yet. It just reads 0ft/m for most runs.
...and it takes a long time. But you can get your files and upload them for free.

  • i Just used RunGap and it works. It has been a long time since I abandoned NRC because I started to ride bikes also. So my data was old.
TIP: before pay the tax, import your data fron NRC and check them. If they are ok it´s worth to pay 2,99. Because worked very well for me.
