At this time, there is no official sync service between Nike and Strava, however, there are a number of 3rd party solutions built by developers using the Strava API. Here are some sync services recommended by our community:
- RunGap for iOS - workout data manager app (VIP in-app purchase needed)
- Sync Smashrun with Nike+, Then use tapiriik to sync Smashrun with Strava (http://www.nikeplusexodus.com/)
- SyncMyTracks for Android
- www.ifttt.com

@Mouhssine R.
I'm using this method, but finding no way to export multiple activities from Garmin Connect at once. Do I have to drill into each individual run and export to gpx?
Vincent - is your tool supposed to import GPS/map data as well? The Nike+ runs I was able to get synced with Strava using your tool didn't have GPS data; they were imported as "running without GPS."
The SmashRun suggestion didn't sync GPS data either - in fact, the only runs I was actually able to import into Strava from SmashRun -> Tapiriik were the ones I had manually entered into Nike+.
I would like to transfer my 2011-2012 runs from Nike+ to Strava. Is there a way to do this without transferring the newer activities? I want to avoid having a lot of duplicates on Strava. Can I set somewhere a desired timeframe?
Simon, I was able to use Vincent's great tool here: http://nike.vinz.xyz to sync a watch-only run from Nike Run Club to Strava on Christmas Eve, but, as others have noted, did not have the HR data transfer.
I have no idea how people were able to use the IFTTT sync method. I have tried the available options, or Applets, but just don't understand how they are supposed to work, I guess. Would love, like others, to have an auto solution at some point. Dern Nike...
@Michael, the servers behind the app are having a hard time when several people do big exports at once, maybe that's why it was not working. Would you mind giving it another go? Otherwise I'll have to investigate your particular case.
@Brian, at the moment it does not support heartrate data but as soon as I have some free time I'll implement it. In the coming weeks hopefully!
Dear fellow runners!
I strongly recommend to
- drop Nike in favour of other apps; it may not be the case now, but earlier this year I saw the Nike app tracking to be less accurate and power consumption somewhat worse than other well-known software;
- use tapiriik to sync between platforms; for $2 a year (let it sink: $2 a year) you have a reliable background sync between 10+ well-known platforms.
RunGap doesn't seem to allow to _upload_ data.
Tapiirik and SyncMyTracks (emulated solution) both have a huge problem syncing a run with a pause to Runkeeper.
Hi, my app (http://www.jeremycoelho.fr/projets/nike-exporter/) is back to normal, nike had fix their api, you can now download your runs recorded with Nike Running club app
Thanks Vincent for the amazing work here http://nike.vinz.xyz
very impressive! :D
Is anyone else having discrepancies with the data exported from Nike into Strava? I've been using SyncMyRuns on android for the last year. Usually it has been off by around 50-150m, but recently it is consistently off by around 500-600m!
I tried using the VINZ link, and it is closer, only around 200m difference.
The thing I have noticed is that imported runs have a different "moving time" in comparison to the "elapsed time"
Update - first impression of using SyncMyTracks was very impressive! Free version did just as it should, all from my Samsung phone. I'll be paying $3.50 for the ability to save my passwords and sync more than one run.
(Didn't get to try Jeremy's exporter)
Thanks @Paul, much appreciated!
@Ko, that might be because the server is not really up to the task lately. I find it's painfully slow at times, which can in turn have some requests fail. If that still hasn't solved your issue, please send me an email (link is in the info section at the bottom right of the screen) and I'll investigate further :)
Hey Dmitry, sorry to hear you're having trouble exporting your runs! Could you send me an email on my address listed in the info section (bottom right of the screen)? A few screenshots would also help :)
Hey guys, it does appear that Nike's changed something recently that does not work well with my tool. I'm looking into it now, hopefully I can be solved by the end of the weekend. Cheers, Vincent
Hey Jeremy, thanks for you great tool, that I used for months now to transfer from nike+ to strava. But I noticed all my activity since September does not show on your list after longing in. Seems that after the nike+ upgrade to Run club my activities are not shown anymore, so I can't transfer them ;( FYI: My runs are recorded with the Nike+ Watch, and then uploaded to my Nike+ account. They are all showing there.
Anyone have the same problem and/or solution for it?
much appreciated!
Hi Vincent, since a couple of days I have the same problem like the other guys mentioned. After browsing to your site and entering the credentials for Strava, which works fine like always. Then after entering the credentials for Nike it says that "There was an error trying to sign you up with those credentials. Please make sure you are providing the same ones you use to log into Nike+ websites, and then try again." The credentials I entered are 100% correct. Thank you for all the hard work you put into this tool.
Greetings from Germany
Since past october I can't login in Nike+ account.
The Nike watch uploads the workout, but I can't access my activities.
Tried by different browsers, Nike + Run Club, Android, Desktop, Ipad and OSX.
Message:
" Our site is down for scheduled maintenance at this time. Please come back soon to sync your activity and track your progress. Questions? Please visit the Nike+ Facebook Support App"
I tried some support, but obviously no return.
Any idea?
I purchased a cheap ANT + heart rate belt and syncing with Strava and It is working so far, but Nike+ is frustrating.
Same problem for me and I decided to use strava app into the watch!
@Tiago Campos - thanks for your solution. I had already wasted about an hour and I discovered your solution. Long way around but works brilliantly!
@Replicant Ste... nice find, although doesn't sync over HR data too :-( Think I'll just dump Nike+ and use Strava app. Way easier...!
It doesn't work. Can't even login to Nike+ anymore from https://nike.vinz.xyz/#/nike-login
Thanks Vincent for helping me transfer my Nike + data, Nike's new app is just rubbish so I was relieved to see an import method into Strava that worked so easy. Well done!
Hello Vincent, even for me i am getting the same error. is there any other option to transfer data? Thanks & appreciate your work.
And Strava seems to have a huge problem with avatars :)
Should be good to go now, I've tested on my end nothing's wrong but I only have so much data (and mine's getting a bit stale tbh). Any new issue please send me an email as it's easier to keep track that way.
Hello!
Anybode can sync Nike+ with Strava? I have try this services:
- Sync Smashrun with Nike+, Then use tapiriik to sync Smashrun with Strava (http://www.nikeplusexodus.com/)
but it doesn't work
I've been using smashrun to sync from Nike - then tapiriik to get from smashrun to strava with no issues.
Hey Jason, I'm also having issues with Vincent's tool. Around this same time, I noticed that my Garmin data (which previously had not been syncing to Nike+) was imported into Nike+. I'm guessing Nike pushed some changes that broke third-party integrations.
Same here. Now I'm really fed up with Nike+. I think I'd rather keep my runs logged with a more open source data collection. I understand their need to want to be sure people don't jump ship but if they didn't screw up the good thing they had going not as many people would want to do this. I loved using the Nike+ app but not since the last update. I tried all of the tools listed today and I'm having the same issues with my credentials not working. I'm betting it's Nike's side. They problably own the data per ULA. (That's my guess anyway.)
Synkmytracks e smashrun funcionavam para mim. Mas para minha última corrida nenhum deles está funcionando. Eu acho que algo mudou no aplicativo da Nike. Se alguém achar uma solução, por favor, me avise.
Synkmytrack and smashrun worked for me. But for my last run none of them work. I think something change on the Nike app. If someone find a solution, please, tell me.
