Can I undo or delete Kudos?

There is no way to "undo" or take back Kudos at this time. Sorry for the trouble.

  • Yes, please let us undo Kudos! I accidentally gave Kudos to someone who absolutely didn't deserve it Why won't You all allow this feature to be undone?

  • Most other apps with kudos/thumbs up buttons will remove your kudos if you click it a second time. Prevents giving multiple kudos for 1 event.

  • Good luck with a response. They don't really care about their customers.

  • Gave a Kudos to a random, i am not a stalker. Strava needs to implement the ability to take back Kudos.

  • Strava, I think the case is made from a user perspective. Really would like to see this implemented. But seeing how old some of these messages are...do you read this thread ?

  • Hey Strava folks. Wondering what the reason is for not providing a function to remove kudos? It's really awkward not being able to retract one if you've given it by accident - very easy to do. A bit clunky that this app is still in the dark ages regarding this, despite the countless requests ppl have made here over the past cpl years. Any explanation? Thanks! ;)

  • Thanks for the tip Caroline.
You might need to report to Strava in a different way, as I'd be sure they'd be upset if their site was being used to distribute porn, or any other sort of phishing scam.
If they aren't then I might reconsider my use of it.

  • It's been three years since Strava's original response to the issue. As part of diligent customer services, it would behoove management to update responses to larger active issues. Surely, management has noticed that 1) the response is aged and 2) the comment count is high. Meeting customer needs equals growing your market and increasing product credibility. Just a thought on customer service. Thanks.

  • David A.D.

If you take part in segments then people can see where you placed on a segment. The only way to avoid that is to mark every activity you do as private. I get plenty of kudos from random people I haven't heard of.

  • Please sort this undo kudos issue it is quite primitive not to be able undo something that was pressed in error, particularly as the return to previous page button, is directly above the kudos button on iOS

  • FB allows you to "unlike" and it used to be possible here on Strava.  How is this any more difficult to reinstate unless your IT is in the practice of writing spaghetti code?

  • Worst thing about Strava. In fact, the only thing wrong, full stop. But a very, very bad thing. A Horrendous policy.

  • I changed my mind about this..

a Kudos is a small yet purely positive gesture,
like a smile I guess and you don't undo smiles =)

there is absolutely no harm in giving one too many!

  • This simple ability needs to be added. While scrolling a club feed, I accidentally liked an activity with which I strongly disagree. I couldn't find anyway to remove it. This bothered me so much that I ended up putting a disclaimer in my profile to address it. Please fix this!

  • I want this feature too... I just accidentally gave Kudos to some random stranger after taking their KOM... I feel like they may take it as a sarcastic up-vote... Please change this!

  • Yep, this and other similar problems are why I'm not a premium member. Would pay for it if I felt users were listened to.

  • The lack of such basic features makes me think twice to renew my premium membership next year. This thread is running since 2014. Time to take action or let your customers know that you are / aren't implementing this.

  • The 2018 blog about 2017 stats shows 2.3 Billion Kudos on strava. Isn't it funny that there are so many comments here, proving that there would be less kudos if user could take them away?

I don't give nearly as many kudos as I would if I could remove a kudos.

Also, I'd give more kudos if Strava did what Facebook/instagram/twitter do and load up my feed with other popular people to follow (but that's a different topic ,sorry)
