Currently, there is no way to entirely remove heart rate or power data from your activity on Strava. However, if you can export your activity in a .fit format, there is a helpful third-party tool you can use to remove spikes in the data that may be impacting your activity analysis or other Strava features dependent on this data. Alternatively, if you do not have a .fit file, try uploading a .gpx version of the activity .GPX exports from Strava do contain heart rate and power data, so this only works if the .gpx comes from another platform.

- Open https://www.fitfiletools.com/#/peak#view
- In Step 1, drag the .fit file in question from your computer or open the option to select it.
- In Step 2, select either power or heart rate. Enter the number you wish to remove any data above. For example, if your power data shows a spike of 1200 watts, enter 1000 to remove any data above 1000 watts.
- In Step 3, select Go! to download your FitFitTools file. Upload the adjusted file to your Strava account. Remember that you will have to delete the current activity on your account, removing any comments and kudos. Unfortunately, we cannot restore that information or transfer it to another activity.
Athletes can hide specific stats from their activities, like pace, speed, and calories. Your heart rate and power can also be hidden. Learn more here about how to hide stats from your activities.
