We are aware that Google Maps was experiencing an outage across multiple applications and platforms on 4/23-4/24. This caused activity recording to crash and some features on the application to not work properly. https://status.strava.com/history
Here are three suggestions to get your Strava back up and running if you are still experiencing this issue:
1. Download the update here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.strava version 147.10 released on the 24th. This is recommended if you have any pending or active recordings.
2. You can clear Strava's Application Data. This will log you out AND delete any pending or active recordings.
3 You can uninstall/reinstall the application. This will delete any pending or active recordings. Deleting and reinstalling the application will only delete pending/active recordings all other recordings that are saved will still be connected to your account.
