How to Link to an Activity, Segment, Profile, or Club

It is possible to navigate directly to an activity, segment, profile page, or club on Strava by using the relevant page’s URL. Information about how to obtain the correct URL can be found below.

Activity

If you are grabbing a link to an activity using the Strava website, simply navigate to the activity and copy the URL of the page that is displayed.

If you are grabbing a link to an activity using the Strava mobile app, follow the instructions below to locate the link:

    1. From the Strava mobile app, select the activity in question.
    2. Tap on the share icon within the activity view:

    3. Use one of the options provided to share/copy the activity’s URL.

Please note that the share icon is only displayed on your own activities. If you do not see the share icon displayed on one of your activities, your ​​activity’s privacy control may be set to ‘Only You’. You will need to change the activity’s privacy control to ‘Followers’ or ‘Everyone’ to see the share icon displayed. More information about your activity privacy controls can be found here.

Segment

If you are grabbing a link to a segment using the Strava website, navigate to the segment and copy the URL of the page that is displayed. If you are viewing the segment on one of your activities, click on the View Overall Leaderboard or View full leaderboard option to open the segment's page.

If you are grabbing a link to a segment using the Strava mobile app, use the instructions below to locate the link:

    1. From the Strava mobile app, select the activity that includes the relevant segment.
    2. Scroll down and tap on View All Results under the segments list.
    3. Find the segment name and tap on it.
    4. Next to your Effort time, tap the share icon:

    5. Use one of the options provided to share/copy the segment’s URL.

Profile Page

​​If you are grabbing a link to a profile page using the Strava website, simply navigate to the account in question and copy the URL of the page that is displayed.

If you are grabbing a link to an account using the Strava Android app, use the instructions below to locate the link. Currently, it is not possible to obtain profile page URLs via the Strava iPhone app. Instead, we recommend iOS users log into the Strava website to obtain profile URLs.

    1. From the Strava Android app, navigate to the account in question.
    2. Tap on the share icon from the profile screen:

    3. Use one of the options provided to share/copy the profile page’s URL.

Club

If you are grabbing a link to a club using the Strava website, simply navigate to the club in question and copy the URL of the page that is displayed.

If you are grabbing a link to a club using the Strava mobile app, use the instructions below to locate the link:

    1. From the Strava mobile app, navigate to the relevant club.
      1. On iOS, tap the Share the Club button under the club’s description and use one of the options provided to share/copy the club’s URL.
      2. On Android, tap the share icon image1.png and use one of the options provided to share/copy the club’s URL.
