Strava to Training Peaks

I would like to be able to use strava from my phone to record workouts and upload direct to training peaks. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,

Andy

  • Maybe one day it will be possible.

I am recording my run with Apple Watch now and not Suunto anymore (which was connected to Training Peak - TP-  and Strava).

I start Starva on apple watch (because I can't export Nike and can't export Apple). But now I can't export my run to TP.

Well I guess the solution is to use the App RunGap... it synch everything.

What a mess all those different Platform and format, really it is very pain-full when it could be much more simple.

I am not using Suunto any more because I found it too close. I thought Strava was the most open one, at least it is the best for social. But I am runing Training Peak because I prepare a race in July (l'étape by le tour) and really want to have all my Data in TP to do full analysis.

  • I too love Strava but need it to sync to Training Peaks... This is definitely restrictive for me not having this be user friendly to do so.

  • Being able to sync Strava activities with Training peaks would be really useful.  I use strava on my iPhone when running, but use training peaks to monitor my whole training schedule (running & cycling).

At the moment I'm likely to move from Strava to the Wahoo run app in order to achieve this.

  • I like the analysis I get using Training Peaks - much more comprehensive than Strava.  I would use strava to record all my runs and rides but the fact is I can't get the data into Training Peaks afterwards.  I like to use the Apple Watch which does not directly load into Training Peaks.  If Strava could upload to TP then I would record all my rides and runs in Strava.  In fact it would be great to see all my live segments and then be able to upload to Training Peaks.  Come on Strava - pull this one together and remain the best!

  • Went to link strava to training peaks and surprised that it isn’t capable. I could like this feature please

  • I'm not sure why you can't get Apple Watch data to Training Peaks, you can export GPS data from outside, but won't allow you to export files from an indoor run.  I want to be able for TP to read my heart rate over the course of the workout and I assume your data is capturing it, but why unable to share?

  • Add me to the pages of requests to sync with Training Peaks.

  • I'm another user asking for Strava > Training Peaks, please!

Currently I use the "/export_tcx" option to get my detailed data Strava file into Training Peaks, which works great, and is pretty simple, but it would be nice to have a direct upload option.

Strava, please consider making this an option for your users!

  • Hello,

has this been resolved? Does Strava upload to training peaks or no? I COULD use this feature too.

    Thanks!

  • Old thread but whatever. If you’re using your phone I’d recommend the app ismoothrun. It’s a $5 app but worth its weight in gold. You can upload from there to basically anywhere. You can set it up so it automatically uploads  as soon as the activity is ended. The strava app sucks anyway.  Intervals, audio cues, total customizable interface and metrics. I can’t sing it’s praises higher.

  • I just find the way to transfer the data from Zwift to TP:

Go to your Desk file on your comptuter, than double-click on the Documents file and double-clic on Zwift than Activities

    So:  Documents\Zwift\Activities

You'll have all your activities in .fit

To transfer your activities to TP, just drag the activity you want to transfer in the correct day in TP and it will upload !!

  • Just adding my name to the list - I have about 100 activities I would like to sync with TrainingPeaks that are only on Strava. And a bulk GPX export would leave out all power data as well as including several hundred other activitiesI don't need.

  • Rene Pierre - that's great but what we're looking for is to transfer strava (including all data) to training peaks.

Zwift to TP or Strava happens automatically.

  • It’s 2018 already
Have anyone get some news about this? I would love if I would sync Strava and TP.

  • Strava blows as a tracking app anyways.

But if I have to use it, I export to file and import into Garmin Connect.  Then export from Garmin to file and import into Training Peaks.

If I export from Strava to file then import to Training Peaks directly, all the Heart Rate data gets lost.  Garmin does good job of picking up everything.

Track rides with Wahoo and it'll upload to Strava, Training peaks and Garmin without blinking an eye.  As a bonus it talks to you too, which I find pleasing on solo rides.

  • This is quite embarrassing, since to many this is a paid service. Of course, this should be built in. One year past and nothing. How many requests does it need to reach to get this feature implemented.

  • I also would like Strava to sync directly to Training Peaks, just like Garmin Connect does.

  • So disappointing yet so utterly predictable. "Stay in our walled garden!"

  • I’m a premium user who will not renew if this keeps up; the benefits of premium are dwindling over time, but integrations like this would help keep me in the garden.

  • Any developers out there that could use the Strava API to get the data, reformat it and send it to TP?  Would be a nice little project for someone and I'm sure there's lots of source code out there to help...

  • Same issue, it's really not to understand why strava and TP have no automatic synchronization,

  • Me as well, I want an automatic synchronisation with Trainingpeaks. Why is Strava ignoring the wishes from their customers?

Is it just about maximising profits by presenting us with ads (that they call „partner integration“) although we paid the premium or summit subscription?

Four pages of request and no positive feedback.

  • Another vote for being able to automatically sync Strava to Training Peaks - is there anything being done about this?
