  • Hello Strava. How are you there, people? Direct to the point: what really happens with the lack of Mi Band 2 support on Strava ? Obviously, it make no clear sense, even more checking that on iOS it works! There's a lot of people asking, and no answer about it. Could you be clear about our chances to change to Strava one day, migrating from one of our apps that today supports the band ? Thanks in advance, best regards.

  • In September my year Premium will end and I will not extend my membership. Strava is deliberately ignoring this.

  • Well, I find it sad that this feature is not working yet. The technical challenge cannot be so big if other android developers have managed to bring out apps that do it... :)

For me it would also be enough if the hr data was not recorded live, and then synced from google fit. But google Fit syncing only seems to send data, not load anything into Strava.

As many people say, the premium service noes not seem to make any sense without being able to use HR info. In my particular case, I am willing to accept the "inaccurate" data from Mi Band in exchange of not having to use a chest strap...

  • I'm a developer. Is there a way I could help with the implementation?

  • I want mi band 2 support too.

Seems, this task has very low priority for Strava team. Thread started year ago and still "no news". It forces to use Edomondo instead of Strava at least for commuting (without chest pulse sensor).

  • So sad about that...just bought a mi band 2.

There are at least 166 Strava users (many of them are premium like me).

I think Strava dev team should consider put this fix in high priority of the backlog.

  • This is a sad state - the IOS version works A-OK with the Mi Band 2! Honestly, how long can this take? The Mi Band 2 appears to be one of the most hackable devices out there! There are third party solutions to get the data out of the Mi Band 2 to Strava but they are clunky - come on Strava, get your act together or you'll start loosing customers.

  • Solution: use Endomundo then use syncmytrack app to sync. All are free.

  • Very sad with the strava not performing the application integration with the  Xiaiomi mi 2 band. I am migrating to the premium endomondo for this reason. The strava team of developers are losing many users who use Xiaiomi mi band 2, the best selling smart band in the world.

  • Hi,

Do you have a forecast of when the Strava for Android app will support the Xiaomi Mi Band 2?

In my understanding one year it was more than enough time to solve this issue...

    Thanks.
