Crop rides on mobile

For someone as forgetful as me, the ability to crop rides after I've accidentally left Strava running on my phone when I get back to my car after a ride, is super useful. But right now I can only crop rides on the web. It would be awesome to be able to crop rides on the mobile app so I can fix my mistakes sooner, before the ride gets flagged...

As of today athletes have the ability to crop their activities using the mobile app. For more information on this feature please check out our article here

  • Definately, always leaving the phone in my bag and driving away with it still running.

  • Please make it possible to crop a ride from a mobile phone! :) There are many other similar route-tracking apps that make this very simple! It just makes more sense to have this feature available on mobile. :)

  • Agree, would be super useful.  Possible to open up the Strava web page on mobile to do, but that is slow and clunky.

  • Would be so much easier to be able to do this on the mobile app rather than have to log on via PC.

  • Strava, that is a "must have" Feature in my opinion! Once forgotten the phone to disconnect and drive by car, you get the shitstorm from all the KOM-Holder.
Please add this, also to the mobile version

  • How is this still not fixed??? I am likely going to switch to an app that will let me edit my route from my phone if they don't fix it soon.

  • Agreed that this is a needed feature. Most users are on the mobile app, this should be a feature and I’m surprised it’s not already.

  • Left Strava on after my mountain bike ride today and now trying to crop the ride. Can't believe this has not been fixed yet. Time to start tagging Strava on social media and ask them to fix this.

  • I now can't find this function on a pc either.

    Is it still there?

  • Yes. When you have your activity up on the web page, click the "..." (ellipsis) at left center.  This will give a list of actions, "Crop" is the third one down.

  • I've just done it on my mobile... Onlu via a webrowser rather than the app itself. Easy as pie.

  • Sure I can bring up the web site on my phone, but it's far from ideal. At least on Android, the website keeps trying to kick me back to the app every time I click on any link, the website doesn't fit properly on my phone screen, the buttons are tiny, and the gestures don't work properly (e.g. tapping too fast zooms the screen). So, yes, it can be done, but that's not the solution we've been asking for for the last three years or so... :)

  • There is ways around your issues as well :)

    BUT

The main point as you mentioned is why is this very very useful feature not implemented in the app yet.
