  • I just posted a reference to this support post on their facebook site. Maybe we can get the marketing team to talk to the support team and get them to at least acknowledge this and let us know why they can't resolve this issue,

  • This is a popular thread... but I think we're barking up the wrong tree. It seems that we should be bugging Garmin to support it in their apps. Let's make this thread EXPLODE!

  • I'm done. No news from Strava since August 2018. You would have thought that this thread in the 'strava support' forum would at least prompt strava to give updates. If it's something that should be handled on the Garmin end, they haven't said it.

I don't pay an ongoing subscription to Garmin, but I do to Strava. Today that subscription ends, Consider subscription cancelled.

  • I have also posted on this garmin thread, it almost seems to have been running for 3 years

    Thanks for sharing

  • This isn't difficult. Smashrun syncs only runs from Garmin no problem and has been doing so for years. Pretty sure that Smashrun has a much smaller team than Strava does too. If running is your thing I'd definitely recommend Smashrun.

  • It would be really nice to see some progress here or at least get any kind of feedback, since this seems to affect quite a few people.

  • I just bought a new Garmin device and noticed that Strava/Garmin has this extremely annoying feature... syncing all activities. I definitely don't want to sync all activities, just rides

  • Any updates on this request for 2020? Like the others, I don't want strength or walks with my wife uploaded to Strava. The end result is that I am not recording those activities which means the watch is less effective then it should be in tracking activity and calories out...
Please revisit this request, Garmin team.

  • Just ran into this issue... saw the first post and was relieved as figured bound to be fixed by now.

    Shocking!

  • I have given up on Strava ever fixing this,  It should be easy to either limit what activity types are imported or at least be able to select which types are shared.  I have disconnected Strava from my devices until this gets resolved. . . If/when it gets resolved.

  • Just bought a Garmin for running, use my wahoo for cycling. Only want my runs synced to strava. Disappointing to see this isn’t an option. Shouldn’t Garmin be responsible for this though??? Either way it seems like such a basic thing I can’t believe this isn’t possible.
