Indoor Training on bike

I just bought an indoor trainer for my bike.  I am not interested in anything virtual.  I just want to hop on my bike, listen to some podcasts and burn some calories while staying in relative shape until the spring.  My question is what is my activity type? I've searched through other posts and some of them are very old and don't seem to be the way the app is working currently. I've seen marking it as stationary but I couldn't find that. I've seen logging it as a workout.  I just want to know the simplest way to keep track.  I would like to log my activity on Strava since I've been using it since I began riding again.   I have a Cateye Strada Wireless which I haven't set up yet.  I had knee issues in July that kept me off my bike until recently so I never got around to putting it on my bike.  I guess that would help with figuring out how far I rode.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
