New Routing Engine Ideas

These routing profiles would be KILLER:

  1. Avoid Traffic (Mash up with traffic volume data by time of day)
  2. Recommend Day of Week and Time of Day to ride a given planned route based on traffic volume on that route
  3. Avoid Numbered Routes
  4. Prefer Tree Canopy (e.g. stretches of roads where strava sample rates drop off)
  5. Prefer the Beaten Path: Gravel / Broken Pavement and Un-maintained Roads
  6. Maximize elevevation
  7. Prefer Singletrack (I only want to be on a road if it is linking me to more dirt)

    I would like to see an option where I can see my own heatmap. So I can plan easily my routes on roads where I never driven before.
