Show all results for Estimated Best Efforts for Runs

Show a list of all Estimated Best Efforts for run - 1st, 2nd and 3rd best. Currently, only the fastest Estimated Best Effort for each distance is displayed on the Profile Page.

Original post:

Is it possible to view all the personal performance records on one page, I assume so, but where to find this option escapes me?  Under stats, it only lists 3 items at a time.

  • I'd like to add that the reason this is so important is because it's next to impossible to see what your 2nd, 3rd, etc. best estimated times are. If you go back and look at an old run, it might still say "Best Estimated 5k Effort," even if you've beat that time multiple times since then. Having a list of the top 3 or 5 times for each distance, as well as the date when it was achieved, would be so helpful in determining progress. Maybe even in a format similar to the matched runs? Attached is a little mock-up based on the already existing and slick-looking matched run graph.

  • Was this added?  It's been 3 years now!

  • 3 years is a long time. Explanation provided is B.S.

If Veloviewer can do it, then why Strava can't? I don't want to pay for 2 accounts...

    Thanks

  • Just do what I did and sync your data to Smashrun, a running stats app that actually lets you look at your stats.  3 years...lol.  They don't care!

  • Hi Bob

Thanks for pointing me at smashrun, the website design looks pretty cool! However they seem to be handling only running moves, no cycling or cross country skiing?

Unfortunately Strava's policy doesn't allow them to pull directly my move via the API. Did you find a way to bulk upload all your old Strava running moves?

  • Yeah, cheers Bob! Smashrun looks amazing. I'm going to subscribe to their pro version.

STRAVA DO YOU HEAR THAT? PEOPLE WILL PAY FOR FEATURES THEY WANT! I meant it when I said I would not give Strava any more money until this was implemented. Unfortunately, they make us feel like we aren't important to them. In the meantime other services pop up that address our needs.

I have not recommended Strava to any of my friends in a long time.

  • Still waiting. I might just follow everyone and go to smashrun or something else ... It is sad because strava does have the potential to become the best running/biking apps ...

  • Very disappointed that this has not been resolved.

It should be a very easy fix?

Why is it taking over 3 years to resolve??

Strava you have some excellent features but you are dreadful at responding to customer feedback. Please fix or at least explain why you can't??

  • Yup - a simple tab (perhaps one that is customizable from the webapp) enabling people to view their PB's for personally chosen distances would be awesome...doesn't have to be best estimated - just make it best actual based on the actual data the device collects.....oh, and HURRY UP with it...pretty obvious feature....

  • If GPS accuracy is the issue, why don't you let users decide to keep out any "miscalculated" (because of GPS accuracy) best effort? Many users will understand the GPS accuracy issue to exist and not easy to fix, but also appreciate a personal "lifetime" scoreboard with top 3 or top 5 best performances per distance. • I have to agree that it is disappointing to not see any progress on the customer experience enhancement for so many years. Any chance we can at least get an update to see if this is a future vision for Strava?

  • Can't believe that this is still not the case!!! Why hand out 1st, 2nd and 3rds for the workouts but not have an overall page to view them all on for each distance? !?!?!

  • Hi guys,

I wrote a small website that gets the info for you.

You can check it out here: http://benwebb.net/strava/prs.php

You can use the columns to sort by whatever PB distance you need.

Let me know if you found it helpful.

  • @Rupert E.

I've added support for the following distances at http://benwebb.net/strava/prs.php

    400m, 1/2 mile, 1k, 1 mile, 2 mile, 5k, 10 mile, 20k, half marathon, 30k, marathon, 50k.

You can use the arrow on the right side of any column to view different distances. See image attached for more info.

  • Ben Webb - great tool, amazing what you established, where Strava is still struggling to properly prioritize this request! Best regards - Harry

  • For those of you interested in historical run data, I would recommend veloviewer.com where for a small annual fee you can view all of your runs and sort by best efforts at various distances.

  • @Ben Webb. WOWSER. That was fast! Thanks so much Ben. That's fantastic. Starve should take a note out of your book! :-)

    Thanks again!
