Strava support for Pebble on iOS

Could Strava please consider support for Pebble watches as an external display?

  • Try iSmoothrun for IOS + Pebble. It's great for cycling and sounds like Endomondo (heaps of customisable data for Pebble screens, auto-starts, heart rate etc) but can also auto-upload to Strava/Garmin and loads of others. One off cost of £3 so none of this premium malarkey. Oh it's been rock solid for me too. I like how it reverses the Pebble screen display when paused. Nice IOS app too.

  • Roger, take a look at iSmoothRun first. It automatically uploads to Strava post ride along with tons of other sharing services.

Also the Pebble support is GREAT! I couldn't be happier with my pebble strapped to my handlebars to see speed, heart rate, distance... And anything else with multiple custom mix and match Pebble screens you can quickly switch between during your ride.

  • Guys, can you tell me if rides and runs uploaded through 3rd parties like ismoothrun and Edumondo count in your monthly mts?

  • Yes, no problem with the Strava challenges from third party uploads. I've never used Strava directly (I use iSmoothrun and have used others without issue)

  • Bought the pebble, H7 polar hrs and ismoothrun.
Customizable screens are great. That's 129+59+6 euros. Money well spent. Ismoothrun uploads bike and run directly to strava. Swim.com is great for swimming and uploading directly to their site. Doesn't upload to strava though :)
May keep using ismoothrun even if strava will support pebble. I like the training/race you can configure: interval or steady run and the pebnle shows your seconds in front or behind schedule.

  • The Apple watch will have the support with strava. It's even announced on the strava.com site. So why not with the pebble watch guys? Is it a political issue?

  • Actually, guys, the new Pebble Time shows that it will support Strava, too. Whether this will be a software upgrade that affects all Pebbles is yet to be seen. But it looks like Pebble and Strava have been working in the background on this, they just do a HORRIBLE job of watching their community boards to answer questions/requests.

  • No new updates on this front folks - unfortunately. Thanks for hanging in there and when we do have news we'll be sure to post it here.

  • So I have a pebble, I'm staying true to strava. But it's getting hard as this has been a thread dating over a year and still no movement on getting iOS integration fro pebble. The new pebble time is out soon and made over $20million on kickstarter. There is money here for strava to earn!

  • I was an Endomondo user and have used it extensively until the beginning of this year. I switched to Strava and recently I've ordered my Pebble Time Steel (via Kickstarter). I am extremely disappointed that Strava isn't available on Pebble, is it planned to support the new Pebble Time series of watches or is Strava only going to support the Apple watch. I am seriously tempted to switch back to Endomondo which has support for Pebble.

  • Can we get a comment from strava on this? The new pebble time was a massive (record breaking) hit on kickstarted. It's not a small watch or company. Why can't we have support. I pay for strava premium, but I'm looking at the competitors as I want to use my iPhone and pebble when running.

  • I'm currently using ismoothrun. It connects perfectly with my polar h7 hr belt and pebble. When done with a workout it saves and exports perfectly to strava. It adds te miles to your mts and adds even photos taken with Instagram on route. It's a small price and works like a charm.

  • I too really like iSmoothrun. Cyclists - don't be put off by the name as it's excellent for cycling too. I've used it for several months and it's never crashed or missed a beat. But I'd still like to see proper Straca support as I'd like segment notification support on top of the customised screens like iSmoothrun provides.

  • for recent commenters that might not have read all the replies... iSmoothRun for iOS is a great solution for Pebble as they have a pebble app so you can see your all the key stats real-time on pebble (including heartrate if you have bluetooth HRM).  and it uploads to tons of services.. including Strava

  • I love the Strava app, I own a Pebble watch, but I cannot believe that Strava cannot support an iOS version?
    What's stopping you?
All I need is a Pebble screen to telling me my speed, distance & pace/cadence.
    Please!!!!

  • I am with you. Strava can connect to the Pebble Android so why not on iOS? Many of us are forced to use RunKeeper, Endomondo or other, just for a compatibility problem iOS / Pebble? Go Strava made it.
