Add Clubs to Strava mobile app

I'd like to propose that you add the ability to view club pages on the Strava iPhone and Android app. Working in I.T myself, I don't see this being a difficult thing to integrate into the already fantastic existing application.

I work part time as a cycle mechanic at a local bike store, we have recently created a club page on Strava so that our customers have a way of accessing information about other member's rides, routes and any details of group rides we release. It is also nice to see our own shop leaderboard, just to see who is getting the most out of their bikes.

If you could give this idea a serious thought, I'm sure a lot of members (including myself) would greatly appreciate this.

Thank-you very much.

  • why is strava support ignoring everyone posting on this? We are asking for an update to your progress and priority on this topic. Several Premium members paying you good money and you are ignoring us? Wake up and respect your paying customers!!!

  • This feature has been needed for years and would really add to the usefulness of Strava.  Please add the feature ASAP!

  • I do not understand why Strava is not providing updates anymore on this development request. My premium subscription was just stopped as I changed my credit card. I leave it like that until we receive a proper update.

  • Please Strava?! It's been two years now -_- We want to view our clubs without having to go onto the website... I can't even go onto the website from my phone as it just forces the App open instead of opening the website?

  • I agree that this is a much needed feature. The Club feature isn't useful without access via the mobile app. Many people ONLY use the mobile app and don't go through the web

  • Finally, two years later it's done, thanks Strava.

  • I see it's available on the Android version of the app now.  Didn't notice any announcement but it's there.  :-)

  • I haven't seen future club rides/events on the new update. I presume Strava is working on this--right?

  • Hi Elle. Thanks so much for this update. I've just posted a discussion and it was super awesome. However the key to clubs its upcoming events and activities. Being able to post rides etc. the documentation says coming soon. Do u have a timeframe for this? This is the actual core of clubs.

  • That is great! It does not appear that you can RSVP to Club rides from the mobile app still though??

  • Awesome!!! Finally. Do you know when the upcoming events will be available for Clubs in the app?

  • Without events this feature is like a fart in the dark, alone....

  • Unfortunately you can't approve members to private clubs from the app. Yet another feature that doesn't have functional parity across endpoints.

This is the total opposite of photo uploads, where you can upload on mobile, but not from the web.

Can Strava please get their act together and figure out which endpoints are priority and make sure they all have feature parity?!

Oh, and should mention this is a blocking issue as you can't just use mobile Chrome to approve members because there's some funky redirect to the Android app going on. I'm forced to go to a desktop browser to approve members.

  • Why !!! .......The function to create an event in a club via the smartphone remains impossible

  • *Bump

Give us an update here pls. Without a beter integration of clubs on the app (i.e. agenda, creating rides and notifications) the app is utterly useless for groups.

I know youve been busy on the watch update but this is priority.

    Kind regards
