Track changes in body weight on Strava
Just as you track you activities, it would be really nice to track your body weight. I simple manual entry as required and then displayed on a graph.
I now only use Strava for my training, and thats the one feature I miss that other programs have.
Thanks
Marc

Definitely. It's especially relevant to running race where extra kilo or two slows down a lot.
Being able to add weight data from mobile app would be excellent
Essential feature to have! If we enter it, and Strava uses it, it should be simplicity itself to show it as a simple graph. Even Garmin Connect has it...and being better / more comprehensive than Garmin Connect should be the easiest thing in the world ;-)
I have the Sigma Rox 10, but SIGMA DATA CENTER is not able to record the weight of every day. You have to use Garmin Connect.

This would be useful. I look back on certain PB's and wondered if I was lighter then (or just stronger). Having the weight data would help.
I would like to track my weight loss along with my rides. I would like to graph it and set goals against weight and ultimately improving my power to weight ratio.. Sound reasonable? Could be done in Strava or imported from Connect..
And fat content as well. Manual entry is Ok.
They should do the same thing as Garmin Connect which allows import from Smart scales like Tanita for full body composition data and tracking.
Gotta agree on this one. +1
Yeah, seriously guys, it's 2017 ... start tracking weight already ... here's the requirements;
1) Make it easier to enter your weight than going into your Profile - https://www.strava.com/settings/profile
2) Show graphs with historical weight in there
3) Overlay weight onto the Fitness & Freshness graph
4) Sync weight as part of the Garmin Connect Sync (cause we all track our weight in there already and it's about the only reason we still use that app)
We're coming up to the three year anniversary of this request quite soon. It would be nice to know Strava still loves us and could deliver on this one, after all this time. Or at least provide us with an explanation of why this is a technical challenge, so we could understand the issue more.
I would say for runners and probably even more so for cyclists, where W/Kg is a standard measurement of ability, this would be seen as an almost essential feature for tracking progress and comparing efforts.
This would be a really useful feature.
4 Years later. Still a important feature that's missing.

Bueller?
Seriously - this is easy - and useful.
I concur.
As you all know we can enter our weight BUT.. you can't declare the date the weight was taken... I'd like to update my Strava records with my weight as it was. This continues to look like a missing part of data that has an important effect on performance. I've said it before.. what do we runners get for Premium membership? Deals in the US that are of no use to us in the UK?! Come on Strava!
May 2018, still nothing
Ability to sync with Tanita scales would be amazing

Please can someone from Strava tell us if this is on to do list? I will cancel premium membersh if this is not an option.
Come on Strava, how can this request not even get a response? Many other performance/activity websites have this as a basic and free feature.
Really silly to not be able to see why I can't beat me PR on a hill climb from five years ago... but not actually be able to do an accurate comparison because I don't know exactly what my weight was then.
Dear Jess,
I'd like to see anything that has been done ! Perhaps if you published what you had done we might appreciate your work.. but I see nothing, zilch, nowt.
I am so close to cancelling my membership.. it's a waste of my money because I don't get things that are of use to me. I don't live in the USA for starters!
Come on, give me a good reason to pay to stay!
Regards
Lloyd
I understand you're frustrated, Lloyd. Thanks for providing your feedback.
Just as feedback; I downgraded my membership and gave this as the reason.
Weight is really just the start....but could grow to so much more.
Build a generic [Key:Value] system that a user can just create their own metric to monitor.
Then provide the tools to plot / analyse that generic field / number over time.
Ideas people might want that you could support with a REALLY simple feature would be weight, number of repeats, number of people in the peleton, heart rate at the end of some test, hours of sleep, calories eaten, water consumed, etc.
