Explain how I use the Fitness & Freshness feature

Hello, I belive that the Fitness and Freshness score and the graph is being under utilized by athletes. I would like to see a webinar or video explaining more advanced reasons for using it. Next I'd like to know how to utilize the graph to improve my own fitness and adjustments to my training plan. I'd like to see some examples of how over training may effect the score and potentially have negative benefits. I'd also like to know how my fitness comepares to others, so maybe there is an average score that allows me to compare myself to others. If the Fitness score is considered confidential personal information just compare me to all of those I follow. For example My score is a 24, the average of those I follow has an average of 48, tells me I have a ton of work to do. Id also like to see a bike time trial in Phoenix.

  • This feature really needs to be incorporated to runners as well. I appreciate that Strava started as a cycling app but come on. I pay for my version and love it but you still aren't showing as much love to runners!

  • Hi Elle, Thanks for getting back to the group.  I think there are several more questions associated with this post then the information in the link provides.

    I am looking for additional help on how to use the Freshness and fitness tool to improve my overall fitness.  

    There are several runners here who have posted that they would like to see a runners fitness and freshness as well. I have talked to friends who are runners and they agree that this would be helpful. Starva maybe missing out by not offering a F&F score fro runners.

    The third point is a webinar or a video training video that shows how one might use the F&F to improve performance, understand how rest and fatigue effect the score and performance as well!

    And would it be possible to know others F&F score or an average just to gage my overall fitness.
