Weekly customization for Strava Training Plans
I'm trying out the new Training Plans. Problem is, due to my schedule, I have to shuffle the workouts around. Taking Monday as a rest day and riding on Sunday is not possible for me, but I can't configure the training program for that (to ride Monday, rest on Sunday).
Two weeks ago, I thought ahead and started the plan to let it run a full week so I could see what the specific workouts are. Then I stopped it last Sunday, and restarted it because I wanted to be going through the program at the same time Strava thinks I am.
Obviously that idea was flawed because now I still don't have next week's detailed plan ahead of time so I can plan next week's training according to my schedule... I would've had to start training one week into the program while letting the program run after all.
Unfortunately, the weekly summary that is sent on Sundays is not precise enough because it doesn't include the specifics about each type of interval (sets, reps, recovery).
Ideally, when previewing training plans, as well as viewing your training plan page (once started), the tool would show a full, detailed, daily workout prescription for the complete program (at the very least).
That would let folks like me adapt the program to their schedules in their training spreadsheet (still can't get rid of that thing, unfortunately!).
What would be awesome is to include a "plan builder" tool that lets a person decide which days will be rest days, and which days which workout will be done, keeping in mind that CTS doesn't recommend doing more than 2 interval days in a row, etc.
