Please add support for the Bragi Dash

Please add support for the Bragi Dash (http://www.bragi.com), a wireless smart earphone with built-in heart rate monitor (HRM) and cadence/steps sensors.

Upcoming but not yet implemented performance tracking features include:
-heart rate variability
-oxygen saturation level
-pace/distance/speed
-body temperature
-calories burned

It can monitor/record running, cycling and swimming activities and it would be great if such performance data could be synced or shared with the Strava app.

  • This definitely isn't working for android.   Strava does not see the BLE Device, and the OS doesn't seem to be able to connect directly and share that device to apps.

  • same here, android pixel xl, i can add the sensor but it doesn't seems to be connecting, nor does it ask for the pin when i tried to pair the sensor, maybe it is the whole secure connect thing that bragi uses which might not be enabled with strava?

  • I'm also having issues with the Dash Pro. I'm on Bragi OS 3.0.2, Android 8.0, Pixel XL. I can add the sensor, but it doesn't seem to be actually able to read anything from the headphones

  • I'm having the same issue as Brad H.

It shows bragi as a saved sensor but it doesn't do anything to read heartrate for andriod phone.

Strangely, I have no problem at all using dash pro with ios.

  • It works - at least the heart rate part works fine.

Make sure you've upgraded your Bragi firmware to 2.0, pair the left ear to your iPhone (not tried Android) and make sure in Strava you go into Record > Settings > Bluetooth Sensors > On ... You'll start to see it feed through.

The cadence didn't come through to Strava, but I've had no problem cycling with Bragi announcing the cadence & heartrate at 15m intervals and Strava recording & charting heart rate consistently.

    Good luck!
