Customizable Leaderboard

Allow clubs to configure the "Last Week's Leaders" table/leaderboard.

Provide the ability to change which activity metrics are used to list the previous week's leaders.

Either by allowing the existing options to be replaced or the ability to add additional options (4 or 5 columns).

For example, one of my clubs would like to replace Total Time with Average Pace, or even add Average Pace as a fourth metric.

  • Please do this, it is perfect for a workplace leader board with multiple sports.

  • This is something that would also be good for the leaderboard of our multi-sport workplace group. It'd be even better if there was some user selection possible so individuals can flip between total distance, total time, total elevation gain, etc.

I don't know if Strava has considered a "corporate wellness" version of the product, but it sounds like this could be a valuable feature there even if it's not worth building it for the standard/free product, because workplace groups are typically encouraging lots of different activity types.

  • All of this makes sense.  I would also like to have the ability to filter out manual entries for club leaderboards.

  • Try chasetheladder.com - might give you what you are looking for.

It uses various metrics for clubs you are a member of and for your group of friends (i.e. your personal club). Currently leaderboards are created for swim/ride/run activities. And the leaderboards can be sorted by number of activities, total distance, distance per activity, pace/speed, PRs, total climb, average gradient, moving time, elapsed time, time efficiency etc.

Rather than a weekly leaderboard it is a rolling 4 week leaderboard - so there is never a 'winner', it just keeps rolling over.

To get most from it you need friends / other club members to sign up. And then you link to each other via the site. Until recently that was done automatically via Strava 'friends' but currently the friends API is out of action. Fingers crossed Strava will reintroduce it soon.
