Segment Explorer not displaying Segment List or Segments on Map

Does anyone else have any issues where segment lists and segments are not displayed on the Map in the Segment Explorer and Create Route pages?

I have tried using my windows laptop using Chrome Version 68.0.3440.106, Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge  and Firefox 62 on my laptop.

I have also tried Chrome on my Android Tablet and I am experiencing the same issue.

When you zoom in and out on the map “Loading New Segments” or "Updating" is briefly displayed but the list of segments and segments on the map are not displayed.

They were working until yesterday (05/09/2018) evening

  • Yes.  The Segment Explorer doesn't show everything.  I personally don't mind as there are now so many little 'trick-shot' segments that I'm only really concerned with the main ones in any given region.

    Also, if you zoomed out, you wouldn't want to see everything - it would be a sea of red.  It's not related to your laptop.

    There are a lot of blog articles on this.  Someone suggested that it was one of the outcomes of the below letter where Strava state:

    • We are reviewing features that were originally designed for athlete motivation and inspiration to ensure they cannot be compromised by people with bad intent.
