How to download activities from Strava into Excel

Greetings - I'd like to download all activities from last year, how would I accomplish this task? I could not find a 'download' button when i see all my activities.

Thank you!

  • You can d/l all of your activities:

    Settings>My account>Download or Delete Account

I have done it a few times, usually works!

  • Same here.  I don't see DOWNLOAD button.

If I upgrade to SUMMIT TRAINING, do I see the DOWNLOAD button?

If so I'll be happy to upgrade but I can't find out if that's the case.

Whoever has upgraded account, could you tell me if you see the DOWNLOAD button please?

  • Hey guys,

I've build a website for this purpose since Strava doesn't provide such a feature out of the box:

    https://flink.run

Its free and offers some unique features I hope you find useful:

Select the data fields you want to export, use 15 different filters (including location with an address based search) to get the activities you need, preview data on flink, export to Excel, .csv and Google Sheets. So you can filter activities after December 12, 2017 and before January 1, 2019 to get those you want:

You can use the filters for a quick comparison online, e.g. to get information about the performance of a pair of shoes:

Another feature I personally wanted to have is an auto-update feature for you Google Sheet - it is automatically updated after you added a new activity to Strava, so no more need to export every now and then.

Maybe you give it a try!

    Cheers,

    Nicolas

  • This is awesome. Is the elevation gain correct.  The data on the site for elevation is very different than my Strava data. Thank you!

  • Anyone know of any third party apps / sites like that for cyclists?

  • Chris - Veloviewer.com ties into your Strava account and provides the most useful access to your data I have seen yet.  Also does not require file downloads or exports.

I like it quite a bit but I am on the hunt for a solution that lets me link to my Strava data live from inside excel using the native get data tool.  Something similar is out there for google sheets.

  • Guys is it possible to export all events for my club members using this? We’ve got a virtual league going during coronavirus and I’m trying to make it as efficient as possible to calculate the results

  • Very handy tool thank you Nicolas!   I'm also looking at cycling activities.  Curious how total_elevaton_gain is calculated?  Appears to be a smoothed calculation on elevation.  I would like to convert back after download if possible.

    Thanks for the app!

  • Brilliant app Nicholas. Especially helpful for us OCD types when Garmin is down with their ransomware issues! :-)

    Many thanks
