Strava app no longer updating elevation totals from Tacx Slope ride

Since December 18, my elevation totals are no longer updating. At first I thought it was an issue with communication between my trainer and the app. Then I noticed in the ride analysis it showed my elevation in the diagram of speed and elevation. To me that says it likely not a Tacx issue but a app issue. I hope this bug gets fixed.

  • Exactly. I was wondering why my activities had no elevation data. Then i noticed that in the tacx app, there is elevation data in the activity. i tried to upload the tcx file manually to strava, but again, there is no elevation data. The same workouts in the past had both elevation data and graph in overview and analysis screen. If you go to the 'my activities' section, you'll see that all the virtual activities past that day, have 0m elevation gain. Is it a bug, or changed on purpose? It's been 20 days already without any notice from strava team.

  • I see the same issue with the Slopes iOS app... no elevation data and inaccurate average/top MPH. :(

  • Same issue. No recognition of virtual climbing as there was before. Please sort it strava👎

  • Hi guys

Easy hint - just untag "indoor cycling" in the activity edition in Strava and elevetion gain will be shown, as some other fields.

  • Brilliant, thank you. That works. I was about to throw my toys out my cot with bkool.
