Count Zwift ride stats separately in Clubs

so annoying to see stats in a cycling club dominated by trainer riders. it is an affront to see   trainer miles and trainer altitude (really!) given alongside real road miles and real road climbing.

Seems like you all agree with the discussion happening at Club Leaderboard Filter for Virtual Rides

  • I agree. This zwift thing is out of control. Please move all zwift rides onto trainer rides and don't allow the stats to go towards mileage and climbing challenges.

  • I second that opinion. Zwift rides should be its own category and treated differently than real rides on the road.

  • I use zwift and don't have it connected to strava because I want to keep my indoor and outdoor miles/stats separate. I wish there were some way to do this WITHIN strava as I like the data strava provides that other sites don't. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come up with, or tell me how I can keep my Zwift info separate from outdoor rides. I agree that it stinks to see indoor miles combined with outdoor miles. I ride 7,000 outdoor miles per year....I hate seeing indoor miles count the same as those outdoor miles. Yes, I love Zwift, but it isn't the same as riding outside. I am thinking of setting up a second (free) Strava account just for my zwift miles but that seems like it will be a pain.

  • I agree with Lynn as a club we would like to only to have road & trail rides counted that our members ride. We know that a lot of our member have Zwift and I think it is great but these miles should not be counted with actual road and trail rides. Please make it separate.

  • Crickets from Strava?

If it is a technical challenge to separate out the Zwift rides from the road/trail/mountain bike riding outside, let us know.

For me, Zwift is fine in the winter. But it drives me nuts that I'm always "faster" in Zwift.

Filter the computer vs outdoor riding and allow us - paying customers - to separate out the data.
