Routes Organization

Hi,
In routes(https://www.strava.com/athlete/routes) we currently have routes ordering by insert date.
It would be excellent to be able to order the routes alphabetically.
I have quite a few of them and ordering by date is becoming unmanageable.
Also, a simple (title + KM) listing would be good.
thanks a lot!

  • and/or to be able to store routes in folders by geographical or any other identifier.  For example, a folder for all California routes, folder for Atlanta city routes, folder for Blue Ridge Mountain routes

  • I totally agree, I have over 100 routes which consist of our Cycle Club runs and also ones I have made up over the years for roads round and about where I live and also abroad for when we go on holiday. Although I star the most commonly used ones the starred ones are never at the top of my list. Folders would be great idea for arranging them into a more logical order :-)

  • Yes please, I was about to ask for this. Would be an excellent improvement. Ability to make your own folders and sort by different attributes (distance, time, elevation, etc.)

  • I think routes have a lot of potential, unfortunately it's a feature that not many people use due to the lack of folders to organize them. It'll be also great to sort them in many different ways (name, lenght, elevation, etc). Pleeeeease add this feature!

  • Hey everybody - I'm updating an existing app of mine to add some "missing" Strava features, and the first one I worked on was organizing/sorting/searching routes. You can check it out here:

    https://goingstreaking.herokuapp.com

    What you can do:

See all your routes in table that can be instantly sorted, filtered, and searched

Organize your routes using tags, so you can quickly find routes of a certain type of that have certain features.

Check out your route details, add/remove tags, or take a look at the route on Strava

So check it out and let me know if there are any features I'm missing. Thanks!

  • I am missing that too. Unfortunately, I gave up all hopes that the Strava programmer (I can't imagine it being more than 1, given the rate of innovation on the strava platform over the past 6 years) will ever implement even the simplest of suggestions created here.

  • Echoing this - but by CITY/location of sorts.

So I've got 80 routes. I moved cities etc. I want to keep all my routes for when I am back in that city, but am not interested in them now at all...

Would be ace to be able to filter them... by elevation, distance, and city / state / countrylll

  • Is there any chance that the ordering of routes or placing them in sub folders is going to become a feature of Strava.
I like most members have routes that are mine, club runs, sportives and keeping them in directories would be so much easier.
    PLEASE STRAVA ;-)

  • Would love some kind of route organisation.

Folders or tags would be perfect.

I have about 70 atm, which are spread over a few pages, its so hard finding the MTB ones, the road ones, the ones I made in a different city where my family live, etc!
