Display Di2-selected gear on my Activities

If a user has Di2 and the Di2 Ant+ transmitter paired to their cycle computer then gear selection information will be recorded in the .fit file sent to Strava.

It would be great to see this information in graph form (one line for front / one for back) on the analysis view in a similar way to how temperature is displayed.

  • I'd like to see all gear selection changes, but in a graph showing gear ratios and gears selected as points overlaid over the elevation map. I've just started analysing with Di2Stats.com but it would be nice to build it into Strava, as it would then sync with the new Fly12 camera.

  • I would be in for this as well.  Was just surfing to see if Strava has been working on this feature.  The sooner the better.

Things are progressing ... keep up or get dropped.

  • Would be great to monitor performance of sprints hills and flats with cadence, speed, power and gear. Ive noticed by reducing gear and increacing cadence up small constant inclines I can improve performance but would like to layer gear changes and run some tests to compare performance improvement over time.

  • With now 4 makes of elect shifting... prob no standard data fomat, which would nake it a no-brainer for Strava

  • As a developer myself. Not really an excuse. If the data format is published. Not difficult to detect. Just need to start introducing a single elec shifter platforn and introducing one after another. But choosing to ignore what a segment of cyclists want may shift stress of the top spot for those users. Tech Companies need to adapt or they can stagnate and die

  • How long before this no brainer to be added?

Give the guy from di2stats.com some money and it's all done and dusted. Can't understand why this is not added. It seems sooo little effort.

  • OVERDUE!

Shimano DI2 Connection to the Strava APP is a MUST.

It is definitely a requirement Strava app should have At least Battery and Actual Gear and Advise when the battery level is low. It will help a lot of people.
