Add more columns to sort in "My Activities"

Is there any way to add Avg and Max Speed to the "My Activities" page? I know many, including myself, would like to be able to sort rides based on speed. Depending on connected devices, Strava can track all sorts of metrics so, for example, having the ability to sort rides by distance and HR, watts, cadence, etc. would be extremely helpful as well. The data is there - just need to present it and make it viewable on the page. Perhaps having the ability to select the available fields you want displayed on the page would work (see attached example).

  • Sadly, I've given up on this suggestion and have purchased a subscription to Veloviewer.com, which gives me access to all kinds of data that is stored in Strava. Their free subscription gives access to your last 25 Strava rides while their "Pro" fee (USD ~$15 per year) gives access to all your Strava rides; it's a pretty cool site that takes advantage of the laziness of Strava!

  • Thanks for the link to Veloviewer.com, Rod.  Looks like a cool app!
I've cancelled my Strava Premium, and left URL link to this thread in the comments section.

  • @Elle, I'm sorry, but I don't see how to filter "by gear (bike type, shoes)" as you mentioned?

  • Actually I did find it. The trick is you need to pick the run/ride type first. Then it gives you a gear choice based on that run/ride type

  • It seems really silly to not have columns for various metrics. Avg Speed, Avg Power etc is of course very interesting. I am a bit surprised that these are not available in any report... trends in speed or power is vital.

Are you going to implement this anytime soon?

  • This would be a super useful feature. Even if you could just export it into a CSV and then use Excel to parse / sort it would be beneficial. Mapmyride has that capability.

  • Looks like just another case of "you really need to support a speed sensor" request. The activities table is very nearly useless without speed (avg & max) and the same for HR and power. I see lotos of requests going back forever with 0 action...

  • Will throw in my two cents here, please allow sort by pace or allow excel export. Please!

  • Any updates on this, Strava? The original request was submitted by me 5 years ago tomorrow!! How hard can it be?

  • Happy Anniversary Rod!
Silence on behalf of the Strava Support Team on this topic is really quite telling.  A simple yes/no/in development/under consideration for year 20xx, would be appreciated.  Yet, Strava appears to be taking the path of a public utility company; silence is golden.

  • This is awesome, i'm glad i found this to sort by 'gear' is what I've always wanted. However, I can't work out, can we sort segments by gear? I want to be able to see the bike I'm riding on per segment... so when I'm looking at my segment times i can see which bike I have set most records for, etc. something like that? Can this be done currently?

  • The recently updated version of "Elevate for Strava" (a Chrome browser extension, that hooks up on the Strava web page) has a new activities menu where you can sort on any column. And there are way more of these columns than in the normal Strava activities page.

  • It's gone. It's not possible to filter any more. In 2019... So bad...

  • This request has only been going since 2014.  It is yet another simple request that Strava lets disappear into the ether.  Now you know why I don't pay a ridiculous £48 pa subscription.  Considering the data they skim off and sell, surely it makes sense to make it free or at least affordable.  ..and now I expect (another) contact from Strava asking me for a list of things that are wrong and guess what??  they'll ignore that too!
