Show all results for Estimated Best Efforts for Runs

Show a list of all Estimated Best Efforts for run - 1st, 2nd and 3rd best. Currently, only the fastest Estimated Best Effort for each distance is displayed on the Profile Page.

Original post:

Is it possible to view all the personal performance records on one page, I assume so, but where to find this option escapes me?  Under stats, it only lists 3 items at a time.

Performance

Best 1k
Best 1 mile
Best 5k

  • Can't understand why Strava can't do what this website can: stravabestefforts.com

  • +1 for this request. I googled because I would like to see the 10km time for my run, but couldnt find out how. Then I found this thread. I would just like to see best 5km and 10 km times for my run. That is pretty easy to implement! And even better feture would be a new page showing all previous efforts for each distance... Cant believe this isnt implemented already!!

  • Mind boggling that this hasn't been done.

  • +1 for this feature.  Just achieved 2nd best personal 10k medal but can't for the life of me recall when I ran a faster 10k.  Would love to see my 10k PR!

  • Wow, this thread is 4 years old and the feature is still not in Strava? Do you not think that we have enough people looking for this that it would be worth while adding it?

  • I know right!!!! or at least update their previous response.

In the mean time I've started using http://www.strafforts.com to view my history of best efforts.

Strafforts only picks up PR's, which leads to one problem. Since Strava does actually record your time the first time you go a distance. Example the first time you run 30K should be an automatic PR, but it is never displayed that way. The record is recorded so that if you don't beat you time next time you run 30K it will rank it a 2, but strafforts won't see it because it only picks up PR's.

  • I really don't understand the official response from strava. What the hell has GPS inaccuracy and bad data got to do with anything. These anomalies will exist whether its a segment or if its telling you its your second best effort after the activity or if indeed it was displaying on a list of best efforts. They are quite happy to display those stats post activity where its useless. Its completely weird that their official response makes no sense whatsoever and they continue to hide behind this silly notion of bad data as a reason why they only show some of your distance best efforts.

Just give you paying customers an honest and open response for a start

  • After following this for years in disbelief that this does not exist yet I'm now wondering if there was some sort of back door agreement agreement between Strava and one of the more running focused companies to not report best running efforts. It is the only thing that makes sense at this point.

  • The only way it makes a lick of sense is if they are admitting that they invest almost nothing on improving Strava, and can only do one thing at a time, very slowly, and were in the middle of addressing accuracy issues. Which frankly, is more and more evident as time goes by.

  • Has this feature still not been added? I've been waiting for this for ages and thought I'd do a Google search in case I was missing how to find this information and came across this thread...... 4 years this is being asked for!!!!! Strava - pull your finger out, please!!!

  • It seems (part of) this feature/data *is* available.... but only in the desktop version of the site.... and it's buried; I only happened to find it by chance. (Click your profile image in the top right, then click "my profile" and the data appears in a table part way down the page in the right hand side)

I can only see estimates up to half marathon distance sadly so no marathon distance estimates (not sure if that's because I haven't clocked up enough long runs yet though)

As the data is available, there's no real reason why it couldn't be pulled into the app (or at least have a link to the web page version)

  • Kieran I think you misread the post. It was requesting access to ALL not just a singular best. Someone did put together a tool to do this, but it is not incorporated anywhere in strava itself.

  • Hi Chris :-)

I didn't misread but I know where you are coming from. The original post mentioned ALL times (which is what you are referring to), but over time a number of people have asked if they can see estimated best times (singular) so I was sharing that info in case it's helpful for those users (hence my "(part of)" bit in my reply). I probably could have made that clearer though :-)

Seems http://stravabestefforts.com/ has more developers than https://www.strava.com/ ??

  • Wow - this thread is 6 years old!  Still nothing.  It is a GREAT idea.  Do it!.  It should not be hard to do.  Makes Strava much more sticky for runners.

  • The site mentioned in this thread, stravabestefforts has now gone payperview, so ive swapped to http://benwebb.net/strava which seems pretty nice.   Sticks everything in one table too and lets you add in all the columns, meaning you can just copy and paste one page to grab them all into excel for safe keeping too.  lovely.
