Android wear not working

I have a sony 3 smartwatch and when i select the strava in the watch, an error message appears saying that the strava has stopped. I have already uninstalled the aplication strava and reinstalled, as i have already synchronized the aplications again but it continues to give the same error. Can you help me? Thank you

  • Same, and it's been about a month now. This is the only way I record my rides so I'm going to have to switch to a different app if it's not resolved soon.

  • I'm also having problems on the Moto 360 first generation. Did you end the support with Android Wear 1.0??? (please say no)

  • Thanks for your patience, we're still working on the fix for this issue which should be released in the next app update. 

    Until then, here is a link to the previous version of the Strava app. Please make sure that you've enabled your device to install apps from 'Unknown Sources' under Settings > Security and disable auto-update in the Google Play Store settings.

  • Ok fellows, its finally woking (even though on a previous version).

    Thanks Elle, the only thing that worth mentioning is everyone need to uninstall the Strava app first in order to be able to install the version you kindly provided. I just did it and my watch is back in business.

  • Unfortunately still not working here in my Moto 360... The app was detected one time in the watch but when I tried run it from there, the Moto 360 reboot and the Strava app just disappeared. Please help...

    UPDATE: I tried install the older version again and now it's working on Moto 360. Thank you!

    Ghostracer works so will use that.

  • I have the same problem with my Sony smartwatch 3 and Strava, and only read in the watch screen "Se ha detenido la aplicación STRAVA".

    When we will have the new version with the fix of problem?

  • Hi, I currently have the zenwatch 2 with Strava and just started runnning again. Last night I completed 5k and when finishing I pressed the flag button on my watch and it said discarding activity with no data and so I completely lost my run.

    Can anyone help.

    I had the same issue and it turns out I didn't have location turned on for my watch. Have you checked that? That's a pretty poor error message for needing location to be turned on, if you ask me.

  • Running a Tag Connected Modular 45, when you first install Strava it refers you to your phone to login. Running the latest iOS, it goes into a login loop and never logs in so I can't use the app at all on my watch. Any advice or fixes planned?

  • I have a problem with strava on ticwatch E. I instaled app on phone and on watch without problems. When I start app on watch, I get message "on your phone, login to strava using the android wear app". On phone I get message "authorize strava for android wear to connect to strava". When I tap button "authorize" I get wear OS home page. Any solution?

  • Dear friends!

    I recently bought second hand LG G watch... So... not supported anymore... I spent hours googling, swearing, and cursing the damn watch as well as the app... 

    So.. 

    I downloaded the oldest apk of strava i could find. (4.0.3). And, ta-daah, it appeared on the watch (wear version 1.0.7). But, best of all, after some time,  the wear app updated itself to 22.0.0 as did the Phone app (to 39.0.0). Now, both devices work flawlessly.

    But... I suppose it was just plain luck and its not gonna take long, before it stops working again...

    Get lucky too!
