  • Where is the time of day displayed on Strava? If you're using a mobile device, then the time of day format should be in your phone's general settings.

  • In the activityfeed. Under the profile picture u have a timestamp. There is an option to choose km/mi but not to fix timestamps.

  • Surprisingly few votes on this request. I would guess all Europe (except maybe UK) like to have this feature implemented. As 24 hrs clock is by far the common time setting used in Europe.

  • I signed up yesterday and this was the first thing I tried to change - that and the mm/dd/yyyy format. Also, Also, I set my weight to 73 and found out it was pounds! I'm in Canada, a metric country.

  • The date format should follow user locale. Hard coding to 12 hr provides a confusing user experience. There are now formatters in Android to deal with multiple locales per language. This doesn't even need a toggle in settings, just better localisation.

  • I've been directed here by Support. I can't believe this even needs discussing. If there's a user accessible Android system setting, apps should respect that. I've chosen 24hr in Android, but Strava isn't listening. There's not even a setting in Strava to choose, which would almost be forgivable.

  • the setting should not be locale-dependent, it should display however the device has it.

in any case, why does strava.com insist on force-feeding us with twelve-hour time format which i find annoying to use?

  • This is another issue, which one is not resolved for years. I hope that coders in Strava are working with something very important.

  • This is important to us. TIME FORMAT has been an issue Strava has not resolved for YEARS (several forum threads). Please listen to paying customers.

  • I saw today that there was a new release and lots of requested features added. I really thought this would be one of them.

Most of the world uses the 24 hr format. Even this forum timestamps the posts that way.

  • Are we sure it's not fixed? Online, My Profile etc. shows rides starting at 16:10 for example.

  • I just checked - it is correct when you sign from the computer, but not on Android

  • A small, but old bugbear (2014!). Make feed timestamps show in 24 hour notation please. This is the only app on my phone using am/pm and it's weird. Even the timestamp on this forum post is in 24 hr (at least where I'm viewing it).

  • Time format can be changed on both the website and in Android. I do not have access to iOs for testing.

    1. Website: time format changes according to language setting (located on the bottom of the right side column).
Example: English (US) displays the 12h time format, while British English (UK) displays the 24h format. Correct.

    2. Android: There is no setting for this in the app, but time format adjusts to the primary system language. However, contrary to the website, English (United Kingdom) displays 12h format. While, for example French and Italian, display the 24h format. Norwegian displays the 12h format, which is not used in Norway.

Strava needs to update the time format and country/language dependencies! That seems a feasible task?
