Fitness and freshness including running and swimming?

Dear Strava,

Please tell me you will be adding functionality for looking at fitness (chronic training load) and form to include running and swimming soon. Thiwould be great and it is a real gAp in your software that has me, and many others I'm sure, considering moving to trainingpeaks.com.

Can you advise if there are plans to add this anytime soon?

Thanks,

Tom

  • Dear Strava. I will be cancelling my premium membership today as it doesn't appear that this issue it's going be addressed. I'm out. T

  • I asked for the same thing but what I was told was that fitness and freshness is really best with power rather than heart rate and as there are no power meters for running they weren't planning on doing anything. I don't actually run but I do a few long walks with a lot of elevation on holiday so I just substitute them for 'fake rides' with a similar suffer score as I didn't want to bother with Training Peaks. Pity though as fitness and freshness doesn't require any extra work.

We still appreciate your feedback, as it will help inform our decisions going forward. Please direct your comments to the existing discussion topic.
