Profile's "Biggest Climb" stat shows descents?

I noticed that my Profile's "Biggest Climb" stattistic is actually based on a descent segment.
It would seem the function is set up to grab whatever segment has the biggest elevation difference, regardless whether it's actually a climb or not.

I would suggest modifying the query to exclude any segments with a negative percent grade. Further, as others have mentioned elsewhere, this stat should be limited to segments with 2% grade (or steeper), since anything 'flatter' would be an insignificant "Biggest Climb".

This topic may have been indirectly mentioned elsewhere in the Support Community, but I wanted to give it a dedicated post.

  • I have the same issue as well and I'd like to submit a ticket as well.  How should I go about that?  Thank you.

  • My biggest climb is also showing a decent, same as the original post here.  Would love to get this corrected to show my actual biggest climb.  Thanks

  • I've the same situation as the users above.  In my case I've got the entirety of a ride of around 100 miles long showing as my longest climb, despite it (thankfully) not being all uphill - it has replaced a genuine climb route that had been showing previously.

Is there a way that this can be corrected to show my biggest climb instead?  Thanks.
