Is Strava the greatest untapped resource for cyclists?
Thousands of thousands of cyclists - from TdF racers to the occasional rider. Same for runners and other pursuits. Yet, the community is weak in collaboration, community and supporting each other. Look at forums like TrainerRoad. Smart people, passionate about their pursuits asking questions, providing feedback, occasionally bickering, but largely all there to increase the quality of our own experiences and the sports themselves.
What's needed for Strava to become the vast resource it could be? Is it the right place at all? Does Strava, the company, envision itself beyond the repository of personal data made open to a community or as an agent of building excellence?
Lot's of questions.
