Leaderboard adjusted for age, weight and bike type

This is not just a filter to reveal how you're doing in your specific age and/or weight class. It's taking the entire leaderboard and reshuffling the standings taking into account age, weight, bike type and time.
It would in essence show who was strongest, taking all factors into account.

  • I think that the ability to sort by age (at least age group)  is part of the premium package. (The premium is for old people?)

  • I'd like to see Strava add Age Group KOM and Weight Class KOM. It would a nice add-on and I think it would incent people to sign up for Premium.

  • Hi guys,

Thanks for the feedback!  @Steve-This sounds very similar to this popular thread: https://strava.zendesk.com/entries/21054846-Filter-Segments-by-Bike-type-used-Mountain-Road-etc-. I would direct your comments there for increase support of this feature.

@Mat- Please add you feedback here as there is another thread more specific to your request: https://strava.zendesk.com/entries/28795010-Award-KOM-s-by-Age-Group-per-segment

@Timothy- It is built around leveling the playing field if you wish based on age groups, and is currently a filter we have for premium athletes!

    Keep the good feedback coming!

  • It appears that if someone does not add a weight class to their profile they default to 200 pounds plus. This is very frustrating for me. I want to know what the guys who are in my class are really doing. Not Goffrey Curran who weights 147 pounds. There are always 4 or 5 guys I know here that weigh more like 150. Please fix this... Default them to lowest weight class.

  • This seems really weak, I just shelled out my $60 for exactly this feature, age & weight, and now find out exactly like all the other Clydesdales (never heard that before about us biggies! love it!) and at 6'2" /295lbs - exactly as stated elsewhere over & over by other riders, 200lbs is no info at all to someone my size - would ordinary people be expected to measure how hard they can drive a scrum trainer or hit a tackle bag compared to us ??? didn't think so. Very poor form, not exactly 'Striving' at customer service is it ??

The point I make to my employees over and over is you make your reputation on your small customers, not your big ones - on here that's represented demographically, and us Yeti's are getting inferior service to regular sized people - not equitable, will probably cancel it before the 30 days are up.

  • Please add additional weight classes for us larger riders that are not represented!

  • I agree. My thoughts are that it shows the age range of there rider in a new column. I know you can filter, but this means you have to go through each age range to see how you compare. It would be great to know at a glance that you are being beaten up a hill because the guy (or girl) is 30 years younger.
