On the website, try hitting the "show more" button under your activity (changes to "show less" after you hit, like in my example). Does that show the calories?
I'd agree that using a different app or a watch that syncs with Strava is probably a better way to achieve this. Garmin for example, can do this.

Does the activity show you ran at least 5km? If so try opening a support case and someone from Strava can "fix" this for you.
