Graph of your Segment Results over time

I'd like to see a graph of my times/performance on a particular segment over time.  When I view a segment and click on "My Results", it shows a list of all the times I have done that segment.  It's sorted by rank, so it's hard to see any trend over time.  For instance, it would be nice to see how a training program I did during a particular time frame affected my performance on a particular segment.

  • Next best would be to allow display of results by date instead of rank.

  • or...

    - A segment trend graph - I have been riding with Strava for a couple of years, well 3 years ago I was lighter and faster. So I don't set too many PRs anymore. I would be nice to have a graph that shows you fastest time, slowest time, average time, and a trend for the last N number of rides. That way I know if I'm trending faster for slower over the last N rides...

  • +1 on this.  Or, to have a list of all your attempts of a segment ever along with time and date. So not just seeing that you completed the segment as PR/2/3, but 10/14/32...etc.

  • +1.  It's not that easy to tease out trending with the current views.

  • +1 I find that I go guns on my first use of Strava, and since I am getting old, realise that its is all down hill from here. But I would like to know how much slower I am getting.

  • I would like to see my progression on sections. See how much better / worse I get at doing sections.

  • I would like this too. I did a quick test: copied and pasted segment history into Numbers (any spreadsheet app should do) and drew a 2D scatter of time pr date. Which with little data looked indeed like random scatter. But adding a trend graph showed a clear reduction of segment times over time.

  • +1. The ability to plot segment time vs. date, with or without a trend line, would be fantastic.

  • Folks, check out veloviewer.com.  It can do what you're asking about, plus a lot more!  It imports your strava data and does way more number crunching and analysis than strava does with it.

  • Especially for distances such as best 5K, 10K 15K etc... overtime.
