Add Health Metric tracking to Strava

Beginner Triathlete and Training Peaks have fields for wellness that I add to my training days.  I find them valuable & would love to see them added to Strava.

I'd like to see fields for fatigue, sleep, injury tracking, resting heart rate, weight, etc.

  • Some of these data can be pulled from sites such as Withings and Fitbit.

  • I would like to see support of wifi Scales like withings. It would be nice to have a automated weight update from a wifi scale.

  • @Zach - Looks like Strava is not marketed for triathletes. Before health metrics they should add decent swim metrics. But would be nice to have them here for sure!

  • Agree - a "health" entry under workouts that lets you enter free text would be a big help.

  • Definintely agree, would be great to add elements such as sleep quantity and quality, weight, soreness, motivation etc

  • Would also like to add to the chronology, injuries - such as injury periods that could be highlighted in the timeline next to any activities.  As well as dates for physio, chyropractic or massage etfc. sessions.

    This is good to compare to highlight issues such as over training etc.

  • Would like to see resting heart rate and body weight. Would be cool if resting heart rate feature in mobile app could use the phone's camera to measure heart rate like some apps already do.

  • Thanks for all the feedback and great discussion! We don't have any new features planned at this point, but it's great to see what the community would like to see in terms of tracking health and fitness metrics on Strava.
