  • I agree with this. It is impossible to see the elevation gain and loss on android. It's horrible.

  • I too would like to be able to change the scale of the elevation graph. I live in The Netherlands and basically it's a flat country (in general) at sea level. Where I run and cycle I have a maximum elevation change of approximately 10 metres. Therefore my elevation graph looks like a flat line. I'd like to reduce the graph scale from 200 metres to, say, 20 metres so that I can recognise the few slopes that are in this area. Is this possible?

Much appreciate your feedback on this.

  • A co-worker shared a route w/ me via Strava & his route shows an Elevation scale of 200 - 450 ft.  All of my routes show a scale of 200 - 1000 ft.  With the additional 500 ft of scale, my route looks very flat and loses the details.

  • I agree with you all. A simple line of code to do an autoscale or to allow us to rescaled would be welcomed, as some profile are so squished it's laughable.

  • What I dont understand is , if I send a link to someone of my ride by email , the elevation scale is very different than what appears in my STRAVA browser.

The 2 screen captures are for the same ride,  top one is in the Strava web page in a browser (Chrome)  when logged in.

the bottom one is the same ride, but what someone sees in a browser (Chrome)  when clicking the URL link in an email that is shared to someone else.

So both web and browser viewed, but the 2nd one via a URL link is much more benificial ..

Come on Strava sort it out please , all we need is the actual scale to be to the next applicable 10 scale ..

  • Elevation scale issue. A bit disheartening seeing a massive hill reduced to an insignificant mound.
Give us an option or bring the scale down automatically.
