You can automatically upload your activities from the Suunto app to Strava if you use one of the following supported devices.

- Suunto 5
- Suunto 7
- Suunto 9
- Suunto Spartan
- Suunto Traverse
- Suunto Vertical
Connecting Your Accounts
- Navigate to your Suunto app's settings.
- On Android, select Settings > Account > Connect to other services.
- On iOS, select Profile > Connect to other services.
- Connect to Strava. You will be prompted to log into your Strava account or create an account if you do not have one.
- Accept that the Suunto app can connect to your Strava account.
- After your next workout is synced with the Suunto app, it will be automatically transferred to Strava.
Manual Export for Historic Activities from Suunto
Please note that setting up syncing from the Suunto app does not automatically sync over historical activities, and you will need to export previous activity files manually.
- Open up the Suunto App on your phone and select the activity you would like to export.
-
Select the three vertical dots on the top right, and select "Export FIT file" or "Export GPX workout". The GPX option will only have GPS and time data.
- Once you select export, you will see options to share the downloaded file. We recommend sharing the files with yourself in a way where you can access the FitFile from a computer since you can only manually upload an activity file from the Strava website.
- Upload your file to Strava by selecting the plus sign icon in the upper right-hand corner and then selecting Upload Activity from the drop-down list.
Removing the Connection Between Apps
- Navigate to your Suunto app's settings.
- On Android, select Settings > Account > Connect to other services.
- On iOS, select Profile > Connect to other services.
- Select Strava.
- Tap "Disconnect."
