How Do I Change My Units of Measurement on Strava?

Switch your Strava account between imperial and metric units, and choose Fahrenheit or Celsius for temperature from the mobile app or website settings.

You have the option to use imperial or metric units for your Strava account. Separately, you can choose between Fahrenheit and Celsius for temperature. The settings you choose will be applied to your account on both platforms.

On the Mobile App

On Android, open your settings from the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the HomeGroups, or You tab, then click Display.

  1. Tap Units of Measurement to choose between miles and kilometers.

  2. Tap Temperature to choose between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

On iOS, open your settings using the gear icon in the upper-right corner.

  1. Tap Units of Measurement to change between miles and kilometers.

  2. Tap Temperature to change between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

On the Website

Open your settings by hovering over your profile picture in the upper right-hand corner and selecting the Settings option from the dropdown menu. Select Display Preferences from the left-hand navigation menu.

  1. Click the pencil icon under Units & Measurements to choose between miles/pounds and kilometers/kilograms.

  2. Click the pencil icon under Temperature to choose between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
