When you upload photos or videos to an activity, Strava highlights one in the feed — either the photo or video you designate as the highlight, or the first photo taken by your camera. If you prefer to show the map instead, you can set your preferred default highlight image in your settings. On mobile, visit the Settings menu, select Default Highlight Media, and choose between Media and Map. On the web, the default highlight image setting can be chosen from the Display Preferences tab of your settings.
