How Do I Manage Shoe Mileage Notifications on Strava?

Set a mileage reminder for any pair of shoes on Strava from My Gear on the website, and get an email whenever you reach or pass that mileage threshold.

You can receive an email notification when you reach a specific mileage for any shoes you add to Strava. Shoe notifications are managed from the gear page and can only be done from the Strava website.

  1. Hover over your profile picture, then click "Settings" in the dropdown menu.

  2. Click on "My Gear" from the left side of the page.

  3. Click on the name of the shoe you'd like to edit the notifications for. From here, you can either change the mileage for your reminder or turn the notification off completely.

More information about shoe notifications:

• The default notification mileage is 250 miles and can be increased to 800 miles. This can be changed at any time.
• You will continue to receive notifications after you've reached the threshold for every run in which that shoe is selected, unless you retire the shoe or turn off notifications from the shoe edit screen.
