Other Activity Types on Strava

Though running and cycling are at Strava’s core, that doesn’t mean your other athletic endeavors can’t be recorded and shared with friends and followers. Other activity types that can be recorded are:

  • Wheelchair
  • E-Biking
  • Workouts:

    • Crossfit

    • Elliptical

    • Inline/Roller Skating

    • Rock Climbing

    • Roller Skiing

    • Stair-Stepper

    • Virtual riding
    • Weight Training

    • Workout

    • Yoga

  • Water / Paddle Sports:

    • Canoeing

    • Kayaking

    • Kitesurfing

    • Rowing

    • Stand Up Paddling

    • Surfing

    • Windsurfing

  • Winter Sports:

    • Alpine / Downhill Skiing

    • Backcountry Skiing

    • Cross Country Skiing*

    • Ice Skating

    • Nordic Skiing

    • Snowboarding

    • Snowshoeing

 

* Support for recording in these new activity types on mobile devices is coming soon. In the meantime, you can change the activity type accordingly from the Edit screen. For indoor activities, log them by manually entering your workouts.
