Siri Integration

Requirements

You can use Siri to start, pause, or resume your activity if you're running iOS 12 or later and Strava 81.0.0 or later. You can use Siri whether or not you are using headphones.

How to use Siri with the Strava App

Any phrase that includes "Strava" and one of the following words or a combination of words will perform the respective action. You cannot use Siri to stop or finish a recording.

• Start Activity: Ask Siri to start a recording on Strava. The activity type will default to whichever type you recorded last.
• Pause: Ask Siri to pause a recording that's already in progress. 
• Resume: Ask Siri to resume an in-progress recording that's been paused.

Enabling Siri Shortcuts

To use custom phrases, you can enable Siri Shortcuts. From the mobile app, open your settings from the icon in the upper right corner of the You tab. Select Siri & Shortcuts > Go to Settings > Siri & Search > Toggle Use with Ask Siri on.
