If you record activities with ROUVY, you can automatically or manually upload your activities to Strava by connecting your accounts. Please be aware that you can only connect one ROUVY account to each Strava account.
-
- Log into your account on the ROUVY website.
- In the top-right corner, click on your icon and choose Connected Apps and Devices from the drop-down menu.
- You will be taken to a Connected Apps tab, where you can see your already Connected Apps and Available Apps to connect.
- In the Available Apps list, find Strava and click Connect.
- Confirm and log in to your Strava account to authorize the connection.
Automatic & Manual Activity Exports
You can toggle the slider next to the Strava logo to switch between automatic and manual activity exports. When toggled On, your syncing will be set to automatic, and when toggled Off, you will need to select the activities you wish to sync to Strava manually.
- If you select auto, your activities will be automatically uploaded to Strava immediately after they're created.
- If you select manual, you'll have to click the share option each time you would like to upload an activity.
Indoor & Outdoor Connection
ROUVY combines outdoor and indoor activities - you can import your ‘outdoor’ activities from Strava and collect points for them in ROUVY’s Career feature.
There are 3 conditions that need to be fulfilled to be eligible for earning Coins for your Outdoor rides.
-
- You need to set up the Automatic connection with Strava.
- Only activities recorded via the Strava app on your device are eligible - no 3rd party data providers are supported - e.g. uploading ride from your cycling computer.
- The activity visibility must be set to “Everyone”.
Please note that any activity that includes data using Rouvy’s ‘gamified’ settings such as reduced gradients or boosts, will have segments automatically excluded. This is the intended functionality following Rouvy and our leaderboard system.
