As a club admin, you can now see how many people at your event recorded their activity on Strava. The more athletes at your event who record on Strava, the more accurate the attendee count will be. Event insights will compare that count to your previous club event to see how your event and community are growing. View event insights for your club's most recent five events.
Ways to View Your Event Insights

- Twelve hours after the event, you will receive a push notification on your device, notifying you that your event insights are ready. Navigate from the “bell” notification to the event insights page within your club.
- Navigate to your club page and tap the “Event Insights” button. Please note that this button is only visible to club admins. Tap on your most recent event to see the event insights.
You can view up to 5 of your most recent club events. Event insights are currently only available for run events and will only calculate attendance based on GPS-recorded activities on Strava that match the event details.

- How many people uploaded an activity from your event on Strava. We automatically calculate matched activities for your event based on a few key details:
- If someone RSVPs or is a member of your club, we match their activity using time and location.
- If someone runs in a group with a club member or someone who RSVPs and uploads their activity to Strava, we count them, too, even if they have not RSVPed or joined your club yet.
- The number of people who uploaded an activity from your Event and RSVP’d beforehand.
- An option to share your club flyer to Instagram or copy the link to your club to share via messaging.
- How many people uploaded an activity from your event on Strava. We automatically calculate matched activities for your event based on a few key details:
This process gives you a much more accurate view of who attended your event. You can see real participation without manual check-ins or relying only on RSVPs. Accurate headcounts also unlock valuable insights, including:
